Amateur status of entrants
To maintain and foster the Corinthian spirit of the event, boats entered for Fowey Classics must be sailed by their owners or owner’s representative or by skippers and / or crews who have chartered a boat for the event.

No professional skipper (unless onboard as the owner or part owner of the boat entered – i.e. their own boat used for charter) may sail in Fowey Classics.

No boat shall be accepted as an entrant which has on board any paid or retained crew or hands.
