Small boat and trailer/sailor launching facilities are available at the Caffa Mill car park and slipway on Fowey side – owned and administered by Restormel Borough Council who offer no concessionary rate (we asked) and at the FHC owned Old Station Yard (car and trailer parking) and also at the FHC owned Penmarlem site on Mixtow Pill (Bodinnick side of river).
Penmarlem offers boat, car and trailer parking and has an all-tide slipway and pontoon. Daily and weekly rates are available. FHC also operate a cradle hoist to 8.4 tons at Penmarlem but advance booking is required for the use of this facility. Contact Fowey Harbour Office at 01726 832471 832471 or email

Fowey Harbour Commissioners also own the Old Station Yard car park (about 150 yards inland from Caffa Mill). Their charges are lower than Caffa Mill and they are prepared to offer an inclusive package rate for small boat sailors (car and trailer parking and harbour/launching dues) provided there is sufficient demand. FHC will also offer a concessionary rate for Penmarlem if a “block booking” is placed.
